Rex Kovacs started their artistic journey like most little artists do: falling in love with cartoons and trying to recreate the characters they fell in love with. They took to teaching themselves how to draw through books, Youtube videos, anything they could find to improve. Born and raised in Austin Texas, their work takes inspiration from the many iconic landmarks of the area, from Torchy's Tacos to the iconic "Hi, How Are You" street art. They have a love of sci-fi, space and goofy, memorable, expressive characters.
